the lakes have england’s best variety of beaches there means you will be able to get good flying no matter what the wind direction is. this area is regarded as one of the windiest spots in britain so it is pretty much perfect.

we work with two different companies offering kite programmes in the lakes, one is based near barrow in the south lakes, the other near whitehaven in the north. both are pretty similar with them swapping guides depending on availability. you can start off with the 3m power kite to learn how to fly, then moving on to the larger 5m kite for the serious stuff.
